个人履历
11岁时，巴西前国脚瓦尔德马尔·德布里托发现了贝利的足球天赋，将贝利带到了巴鲁竞技青年队，贝利在该队踢了三年，后来布里托又将贝利带到了桑托斯队。
1956年，贝利到达了桑托斯足球俱乐部。
